Keeping your body hydrated is key as you put in the work to improve your physical and mental health. Your wellness is contingent on the amount of water you consume daily, meaning your focus should be on drinking plenty of water from the moment you wake up until you go to bed.

While there are countless types of teas out there, each with its own benefits, there is one common denominator– water. Water, whether it is ice-cold, from the tap, or hot and steamed with some herbs, is water and promotes hydration! 

INFUSED WATER

Infused water is a game-changer and can be created specifically for your preferred tastes. Infused water recipes are endless and offer various health benefits that are dependent on the ingredients you select to infuse your water with. Some typical and tasty ingredients to incorporate into your daily infused hydration are mint, berries, citrus fruits, cucumber, kiwi, and lime. 

CHIA SEEDS 

Chia seeds are a phenomenal addition to your glass of water, especially when added to infused water. If you are quite picky about texture, this variation may not be for you. However, for those who are welcoming of the chia seed, adding ¼ cup for each liter of water and allowing them to soak for 20-30 minutes will not only boosts hydration, but can improve your heart health, regulate your glucose levels, and promote smoother digestion. 

HONEY

Natural health and wellness fanatics will be the first to tell you that warm to hot water with honey in it is a unique healing elixir that should be a part of everyone’s daily routine. The combination of honey and water not only will keep you hydrated, but is known for its ability to flush toxins, soothe your throat, improve your energy, and give your immune system a much-needed boost.
