You’ll Never Get Hit, You’ll Only Get Fit
Even if you’ve never boxed or kickboxed before, you’re in the
right place. Our classes don’t require any prior experience. In
fact, many of our members had never punched or kicked before they joined
our studio. One of our trainers will provide one-on-one instruction before
your first class to make sure you are fully prepared. This will include
learning how to wrap your hands like a pro as well as how to throw the
nine punches and kicks you’ll encounter in our class.
At RockBox Fitness Watchung, you’ll only hit bags. You’ll never hit
anyone or get hit yourself. Boxing is proven to be one of the most effective
forms of exercise, as it can help you lose weight, build muscle, improve
flexibility, and increase endurance. It’s also an amazing stress
reliever. Our boxing-based workouts can burn over 1000 calories. You’ll
kick, punch, push, pull, and sweat your way to a stronger, more energized you.
What to Expect from Our Workouts
Our Watchung fitness classes are 50 minutes long. After you warm up, you’ll
start with boxing and kickboxing moves. We’ll then incorporate functional
training exercises into the mix. Our iPad kiosks have over 900 available
exercises, which may include bodyweight exercises or using free weights,
pullup bars, or exercise bands. With this kind of variety, you can count
on always having a different workout. Keeping classes fresh will keep
you engaged and your body continually challenged.
